LOCKDOWN UPDATE - THINGS ALL OUR CLIENTS NEED TO KNOW
We are an ESSENTIAL SERVICE and will be available to you and your pets. However, there will be some changes.
Our clinics are closed for non-essential veterinary services - although we will be seeing as many patients as we can via video conferencing (using zoom) or via telephone.
We are available 24 hours for emergencies and to treat acutely ill animals. (If it is outside business hours then our after-hours fees apply).
Our Masterton, Martinborough and Featherston clinics are all completely closed for 4 weeks.
If you have an emergency, please ring the Carterton clinic BEFORE arriving. We need to assess the situation over the phone first.
If you need Prescription Medication or Food, please contact us via email, phone or use our South Wairarapa Veterinary Services app to order them. You can download our App for your mobile from Google Play or the App Store. We would prefer for you to get your order to us between 9am - 1pm.
We will be offering consultations by telephone or preferably video conferencing (through zoom). These will be treated the same as normal consultants (a consultant fee will apply). You will be speaking directly with an Experienced Senior Veterinarian. Depending on the situation it may be that we require you to bring your pet in for examination but we will discuss all this with you during your consultation.
Please give us a few days to set this up - more information will be available shortly about how this will work. You might want to download Zoom so it is available on your device (if you need an appointment, we send you a time with a link which you then click on to connect with our Veterinarian.
We will have a no-contact collection point available from our Carterton clinic. We are looking into providing a no-contact delivery system for housebound clients.
This is an unprecedented situation and we, like you, are still finding our feet and consider our responses to be fluid.
We will keep you updated.
